Why I Started This Platform
I’ve been unemployed for almost two years, and I know firsthand how hard it is to find work in South Africa. I’ve tried platforms like LinkedIn and other job sites, and most of the time nothing comes back. No calls. No replies. Just waiting and hoping.
At some point I realized that if I couldn’t find work for myself, maybe I could create something that helps other people — and in doing so, help myself too.
This platform was born out of frustration, but also out of hope. It’s meant to give people a way to earn money through honest, short-term and gig-based work in their own communities, without having to wait months for agencies or employers to respond.
This isn’t just a business idea for me. It’s personal. It’s about survival, dignity, and giving people a fair chance to stand on their own feet again.
